This Saturday is sure to be a feast for those on two wheels, as the Woodrow Wilson Bridge bike path is set to open at 1 p.m. and Bike and Roll celebrates the grand opening of its Alexandria location.

Bike and Roll is offering free two-hour rentals all day, including free, guided community rides from its new location at 1 Wales Alley. The guided tours include one for the bridge opening at 1 p.m. and another 2 p.m. ride to Mount Vernon Estate.

Registration is required for each and those signed up for the Mount Vernon ride receive a complimentary ticket for a ride back to Alexandria courtesy of the Potomac Riverboat Company.
The Wilson Bridge bike path is a 1.1-mile crossing of the Potomac River, and with space on the bridge path limited, those looking to take part in the 1 p.m. convoy are recommended to register at www.waba.org/events.
