White Ice – Artists from the Potomac Fiber Arts Gallery will interpret in fiber the cool, clear, sparkly, sheer and smooth nature of ice in jewelry, sculpture, clothing and wall pieces.

Timbuktu – Printmaker Kathleen Stafford spent 18 years immersed in African culture. This solo artist exhibit celebrates the compelling people she met and the brilliant textures and colors of West Africa through her unique artistic process.

In Isabels Field – Printmakers Inc. will honor the work of original member Isabel Field with a special show.  Members have each taken one of Fields prints and added their own personal touch to the work. The studio will also have on display Tools of the trade.  Plates, proofs and tools will be on display to help show the various methods of printmaking the artists use in the studio for producing their prints.

New Work for a New Year – Del Ray Artisans presents the January 2010 show, New Work for a New Year. This exhibit, for both DRA members and non-members, provides local artists a platform to show recent work, which has not been previously exhibited. Artists are being asked to not only show their work but also provide a few words describing what has been influencing them. 
Time: 7 p.m.
Gallery Hours: Thursdays, noon to 4 p.m.; Fridays, Noon to 9 p.m.; Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sundays, noon to 6 p.m.. The gallery is handicap accessible, free and open to the public.

Messing Around with Creativity Workshop – The Del Ray Artisans invite you to explore how the creative process works so that you can apply it to traditional artistic pursuits and life in general.  $10 for DRA members, $12 for non-members. Creativity coach Lynn Wyvill will facilitate the workshop.
