Police seek help identifying robbery suspects

The Alexandria Police Department is asking for the publics help in identifying the suspects wanted in a robbery that occurred January 11 in the 200 block of South Royal Street. 

On January 11, around 7:30 p.m., a 29-year-old woman was walking home from work when two suspects approached her, according to a police spokesperson. The suspects pushed her up against a wall, knocked her down and took her purse and lunchbox before fleeing the area. The victim sustained minor injuries.

A man and a woman used the the victims credit cards at a store in Maryland the next day and were caught on a video surveillance camera. 

The suspects in the robbery are described as black with a light complexion and both were wearing dark clothing.
