The St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes Saints extended their consecutive loss streak to four games with a 39-24 defeat at the hands of Landon on Saturday.

The 1-5 Saints were behind from the very beginning. Landon’s Myles Allen and Joe McDonald punched in a pair of touchdown runs to make it 13-0. Though the long-suffering St. Stephen’s squad got on the board with two touchdowns and a 27-yard field goal, Landon didn’t let up, making their way into the end zone twice.

And they didn’t slow down after halftime. The Bears forced their way downfield for another touchdown and capitalized on a fumble to put them up 39-17. Though the Saints would score again, on a seven-yard pass, it was too little, too late.

St. Stephen’s takes on 2-4 Episcopal on Saturday before wrapping their season up with a matchup against 4-3 St. Albans on November 5.
