A new blog written for, by and about Alexandria small businesses launched this week at www.alexandriasmallbusiness.com.

The Alexandria Small Business Development Center partnered with Ray Sidney-Smith, president of W3 Consulting, to launch the business blog.

“What started as an initiative to get the SBDC to start blogging turned into an idea … to launch a blog and blogger consortium that helped all the small businesses in the City of Alexandria overcome the hurdles about blogging — time, technology-savvy and writing assistance,” Sidney-Smith said in a statement.

The fee membership affords small businesses traffic that would otherwise take many months and much more content to generate to their website. By consolidating their resources into one blog, businesses can learn and share their expertise at a greater scale, Sidney-Smith said.
