Rising star Doug Chappell led the Episcopal Maroon to victory in their final regular season game with a 19-point performance against St. Albans on February 9.

Though the 9-14 Bulldogs hung tough with the No. 7-ranked Maroon early, they couldn’t keep up with Episcopal’s triple threat of Arnaud Adala Moto, Kethan Savage and Chappell. The Maroon locked up the 68-59 win before heading into a weeklong break.

The Maroon face Georgetown Prep on Friday in the first round of the Interstate Athletic Conference tournament. The two squads met twice during the regular season; the 18-2 Maroon upended the 13-12 Little Hoyas on both occasions.
