Small Alexandria-based 501c (3) and related 501c (4) not for profit organization is seeking a part-time office manager and bookkeeper with a willingness to learn and to work efficiently and independently. As the bookkeeper, the individual will serve as the primary financial record keeper for both organizations handling all transactions as well as managing accounts payable and accounts receivable. Preferred candidate will have experience with QuickBooks, strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills as well good communication and organizational skills. Job will require approximately 20 hours per week, schedule can be flexible. Close to Metro and free parking. Salary commensurate with experience.
