Local Chef’s Recipes Among Best in Nation

Food and Wine Magazine named Alexandria resident Domenica Marchetti’s cookbook as one of the best in the country last week, according to a spokesman for the publication.


Her book of recipes, Big Night In, was ranked eighth out of 25 on the list, which was narrowed down from 150 of the best cookbooks in the nation — out of about 24,000 that are published each year, according to Food and Wine.

Marchetti’s recipes are included in the magazine’s new Best of the Best Cookbook Recipes, an amalgamation of the top 25 winners.
