Photos of a suspect involved in three Fairfax County bank robberies are being released. The robberies occurred in the Mount Vernon District on November 7, 2006, December 3, 2006 and April 25. Detectives are coordinating efforts with police in Arlington County, Prince William County and Montgomery County to determine if BB&T Bank robberies in those jurisdictions are related.
 
A man armed with a gun robbed a BB&T Bank on Richmond Highway. On Wednesday, April 25 at approximately 4:00 p.m., a man wearing a dust mask, sunglasses and a baseball hat entered the bank, located at 8650 Richmond Highway. He brandished a gun and demanded everyone lay down on the floor. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and fled. No one was injured.
 
The suspect is described as a light skin male, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 125 pounds. He was wearing khaki pants, a beige, plaid shirt, beige baseball hat and black shoes.
