The End-of-the-Year Celebration for the Campagna Center’s Building Better Futures Program will be held next Friday, June 6, 2008 at T.C. Williams High School Auditorium. The Keynote speaker will be Mr. Douglas Garcia, Assistant Secretary of Education. The event will also feature remarks by Dr. Bill Symons, Interim ACPS Superintendent; Mel Riddile, T.C. Williams High School Principal; and Karen Hughes, Campagna Center President and CEO. Vice-Mayor Redella Pepper, ACPS School Board members, and other dignitaries will also attend. Dinner will be served from 6:00 until 7:00 pm and the awards ceremony will immediately follow. Building Better Futures is a tutoring and mentoring program for Latino and non-Latino ESL students.
