With the attention on retail and restaurants in the Eisenhower Valley, including the Carlyle area, the Eisenhower Partnership is using its 7th annual fundraiser to highlight Valley food establishments. This year’s “Taste of the Valley Mini Golf Classic” is set for Thursday, May 15th from 4:30PM until 7:30PM at Cameron Run Regional Park.
The event will feature the area’s premier mini golf course and sample dishes from Eisenhower Valley’s unique array of food establishments. Live music provided by the Mike Gillispie Quartet and children’s entertainment, including a balloon artist and face-painting, will also be available!
You can purchase ticket books from the Partnership website at www.eisenhowerpartnership.org or onsite on May 15th. Ticket books cost $20 before the event and $25 the day of and include 6 tickets to use for a round of mini golf, food tastings, beer and wine.
Participating food establishments include Ted’s Montana Grill, Whole Foods Market, Starbucks, Brueggers Baked Fresh, Robeks Fruit Smoothies and Healthy Eats, Jerry’s Subs and Pizza, Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches, and Potbelly Sandwich Works. We are once again allowing attendees to bring their dogs. Dog treats will be provided by Whole Foods Market. Dogs are not allowed on the mini golf course or near the food serving area but dog sitters will be available to watch your pet while you golf and peruse the food vendors.
