It was a tranquil, sun-kissed afternoon Monday in one of the warehouse art studios lining the Potomac River along S. Union Street.

Three female art students were finishing up their weekly class at the Art League of Alexandria on the techniques of the East Asian Brush Painting art form when a nude model entered the classroom around 1 pm and presented his “credentials” to the students and their instructor.

“He just walked into the classroom and dropped his trousers,” said the instructor, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. “I recognized him as one of the freelance nude models and asked him to leave. We then saw him walk down the hallway and drop his trousers again in another classroom.”

The man soon left the building, but not before Alexandria Police were called.  A manhunt for the model ensued, and officers soon caught up with one Eric Underhill Wallen, 34, of Silver Spring, according to Alexandria Police Spokesperson Ashleigh Hilldebrand. Wallen was arrested for Indecent Exposure.
