DC locals and visitors will now have more opportunities to experience the legendary cuisine of Chef Wolfgang Puck.
As a followup to his quick-serve restaurant at Pentagon Row, on Feb. 19 The Source by Wolfgang Puck will begin lunch service, offering a diverse menu of modern American fare with Asian influences. Lunch will be served in the upstairs dining room Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Divided into categories such as first flavors, or appetizers, entre salads and entres, Executive Chef Scott Drewno will offer delectable dishes such as the Roasted Kabocha Squash and Coconut Soup with slow-cooked chicken and tapioca pearls; Korean BBQ Flat Iron Steak Salad with haricot vert, endive and honey-miso dressing; and an American style Kobe Burger with smoked onion marmalade and herb aioli, inspired by the popular sliders offered in The Sources lounge nightly.
Chef Drewno will also offer a three-course, prix fixe menu, priced at $30. Guests may choose between first courses of the signature Crispy Suckling Pig with black plum chutney or the Tandoori Artic Char with cardamom raita and main courses of Sauted Red Snapper with red Thai curry and pineapple sambal or Pan Roasted Chicken with Lapsong sausage fried rice. The restaurants most popular dessert, the Chocolate Purse with vanilla and chocolate swirl sorbet, will complete the meal.
The Source by Wolfgang Puck is located at 575 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW (entrance on 6th Street). The dining room is open for lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner Monday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday until 11 p.m. Reservations can be made by calling (202) 637-6100.
