Assist city agency
At 3:16 p.m. on June 4, Patrol and Motor Unit officers assisted the Fire Department with the collapse of the walkway at the Lyceum at 201 South Washington St. There were no injuries. Washington Street was closed in both directions for approximately two hours.
Robbery
On the 700 block of Montgomery Street, June 7 at 12:25 a.m., the victim, a 49 year-old Alexandria man, reported that two suspects approached him and removed personal property. There were no injuries. The first suspect is described as a black male, 16-24 years-old, 58 – 510 and 120-150 lbs. The second suspect is described as a black male, 16-24 years-old and 120-150 lbs.
On June 7 at 1:30 a.m. on the 3800 block of Executive Avenue a 22 year-old Alexandria man reported two suspects struck him in the head. The suspects then removed personal property. There were no injuries. The first suspect is described as a white male, 59 and wearing a red mesh shirt and blue jeans. The second suspect is described as a white male, 59 and wearing a white tank top and shorts.
Burglary/Arrest
At 5:04 a.m. June 6 at 907 West Glebe Rd., a suspect entered a business by force. Officers set up a perimeter and a K-9 unit conducted a search. William Waters, 55, was arrested.
Between 5:00 p.m. on June 7 and 7:00 a.m. on June 9, an unknown suspect entered the business located at 5249 Duke St. without force. Once inside, the suspect removed cash.
At 9:00 p.m. on June 4, two unknown suspects entered a locked office at 5239 Duke Street by force. The first suspect is described as a black male, 55-58, approximately 160 lbs and wearing a black ball cap, black rain jacket with a green collar and black pants. The second suspect is described as a black male, 25-45 years-old, 56-510, 160-190 lbs and wearing a black ball cap, black raincoat and black pants.
Indecent Exposure
On June 6 at 5:45 a.m. on the 100 block of Madison Street, the victim, a 51 year-old Alexandria woman, reported that the suspect exposed himself to her while she was walking. The suspect is described as a male, 30-50 years-old, 55-58 and 130-160 lbs.
Grand Larceny Auto:
Between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on June 9, a silver four door 2001 Dodge Intrepid was stolen from the 900 block of North Royal Street.
On June 7 between 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., a blue 2001 Nissan Pathfinder was stolen from the 500 block of North Royal Street.
