The Rotary Club of Alexandria has granted $3,000 to the Campagna Center, funds which will be used to support the Tiny Titans Head Start site at T.C. Williams. “We are honored to help this important program continue service the Alexandria community,” said Rotary President James Aldige.
Funding provided by the grant will be used to purchase supplies for the Tiny Titans site. The Alexandria Rotarys generous contribution greatly helps support our Head Start program, said Campagna Center President Karen Hughes. With these funds, The Campagna Center will be able to continue providing quality early childhood programs that ensure children in Alexandria arrive at school ready to learn and achieve academic success.
Rotary was selected as the recipient of the Campagna Centers 2008 Excellence in Community Service Award in the Community Involvement category. The award will be presented on Saturday, Feb. 23 at The Campagna Centers annual Celebration of Service Gala, held at the Westin Alexandria.
