City officials, including city police and members of the Sheriffs Department, attended a variety of events throughout the city where they met, mingled and helped eat hot dogs with citizens, neighborhood association officers and fellow colleagues. National Night Out was celebrated in thousands of neighborhoods throughout the country as a way to help citizens fight crime.
