Sen. John Warner (R-VA)  was hospitalized Tuesday for adjustments to his pacemaker, but returned to work Wednesday to discuss the Senate’s pending energy legislation.

A Warner spokesperson said that the 81-year-old Senator, who suffers from an irregular heartbeat, had planned on taking the rest of the week off after a pacemaker was implanted last weekend.
