Ready to play ball? The West End Business Association has challenged the Del Ray Citizen’s Association to a friendly game of softball on Sunday, July 20 at 2 pm.  We wanted to let you know that the location for Sunday’s game is confirmed for the softball field located in the back at Simpson Field with parking next to the YMCA.  A special thanks to Bill Euille and Mac Slover for helping secure the field. This is really a great opportunity to get to know members of the Citizen’s association and is lots of fun.  No skills are required but if you really aren’t up to playing, we need lots of fans in the stands to cheer us on. For those that might not know, we are undefeated thanks in large part to big hits from former Mayor Kerry Donley and a home run that Kevin Reilly hit that actually went over the fence and hit Rt. 1.
