An Alexandria general practice physician was arrested for sexually assaulting one of his patients, according to Alexandria police.

Dr. Antonio Ramada is accused of performing an act of sodomy on a 32-year-old Manassas man during an appointment at Ramadas office at 6000 Stevenson Avenue.  Court records indicated that the alleged incident occurred August 18.

Ramada, 48, was arrested August 27 and charged with non-forcible sodomy. He is a resident of Annandale.  Ramada is currently free on bond pending a preliminary hearing next month.
