Sept. 12 – Edison hosts South County; West Potomac hosts Yorktown; Mount Vernon hosts Jefferson.
Sept. 13 – T.C. Williams hosts Oakton; St. Stephens/St. Agnes hosts Norfolk Academy; Ireton hosts McNamara and last, but certainly not least, the Episcopal Maroon (alma mater of John McCain) will finally commence their season when they host Flint Hill (Oakton).
Episcopal, due to the fact that it is a boarding school, starts the season later than all other teams in the area. The Maroon are led by head coach/offensive coordinator Mark Gowin, defensive coordinator Steve Castle and by special teams coordinator Scott Conklin.
