Tax season is upon us. Does the prospect of filing your taxes drive you crazy? Do you have nightmares wondering if you can fill out the 1040? Does the Earned Income Credit make your stomach turn?
You can sleep easy with the knowledge that you can have your taxes prepared at NO COST by volunteers from the AARP TaxAide program. All volunteers are trained in tax preparation and certified by the IRS. All returns will be e-filed and you can have your refund sent directly to your bank. Most clients receive their refund deposits within 2 weeks. You do not have to be retired or a member of AARP to benefit from this FREE program.
AARP TaxAide is a program of the AARP Foundation, offered in conjunction with the IRS. The program is for taxpayers with low and middle income, with special attention to those age 60 and older.
