The Alexandria City Council will hold its next legislative meeting in the citys West End. The City Council meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m., will be held at the School Board Administration Building, 2000 N. Beauregard St. in the board room on the first floor.

Before the legislative meeting, a work session on the Landmark/Van Dorn Area Plan will be held at 5:30 p.m. Residents living in the West End are encouraged to come to the work session to learn about the Landmark/Van Dorn Area Plan and then stay for the City Council meeting.
