Between 6 and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, in the Vola Lawson Lobby of City Hall, a reception will be held in honor of the Catalogue for Philanthropy: Greater Washington and its founder, Barbara Harman. Following the reception, Mayor William Euille and the City Council will on behalf of the citizens of Alexandria make an official proclamation of appreciation for the Catalogue and Ms. Harman.
The proclamation will take place in the Council chambers on the second floor of City Hall. The event has been organized by six nonprofits which serve City of Alexandria residents and which were selected from among 250 applicants for inclusion in this year’s Catalogue for Philanthropy: Greater Washington.
