


Tickets go on sale next week for eight-time Grammy Award winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Tina Turner, who will bring her long-awaited 17-city North American tour to the Verizon Center on Nov. 23.
“With a brand new stage show, fans will be treated to hit after hit spanning Turner’s entire career,” said a spokesman for her touring company. “The spectacular production will include the singer’s top-notch band, innovative choreography, hi-tech lighting and more.”
With sensual, soulful and powerful vocals that have been part of music history for four decades, Turner’s live set will include everything from early career singles “River Deep Mountain High,” “Proud Mary,” and “Nutbush City Limits” through solo superstar smashes “Let’s Stay Together,” “What’s Love Got to Do With It”, “We Don’t Need Another Hero” and “The Best”, as well as ’90s comeback hits such as “I Don’t Wanna Fight”, the theme song to the James Bond film, Goldeneye.
Turner’s shows are known for their sets, dramatic production element, and unique stage presence. “This how will delight her legions of fans that have followed the legendary diva’s extraordinary creative journey, while seducing new admirers and proving that her vocal majesty still continues its reign to this day,” her spokesman said.
Tickets for Tina Turner Nov. 23 show will go on sale Monday, May 19th at 10:00 a.m. Tickets are $153.00 and $59.50 and will be available through all Ticketmaster outlets.
