The Center Dance Company, Inc. and its school Arlington Center for Dance (now in its 27th year of operation) proudly open the doors of its new home one of the largest dance education facilities in the Metro D.C. area.

Located at 3443 Carlin Springs Road, Falls Church, at Bailey’s Crossroads, the state-of-the-art facility will serve students from Northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC.

In addition to an extensive class schedule and training program, the center will provide the local dance community with exceptional rehearsal, class and studio performance space by offering rental opportunities to local and national dance, arts and wellness organizations.

The spacious studios (ranging in size from 865 square feet to 2,500 square feet) feature top of the line Harlequin sprung flooring and 16-foot ceilings. The building provides excellent access, drop off and parking in addition to being close to popular retail and restaurant establishments.

The new center is scheduled to open on July 15, for a special Preview Week of walk-in classes at the special rate of $10 per class.

The regular summer semester will begin July 21 and enrollment is underway. Auditions for September placement will be conducted during the summer class schedule.

Prospective students should contact Carolyn Carattini, School Director at cct@arldance.org to set up an audition for the academic year program. Schedule information can be found on the Center’s website www.arldance.org.

The center offers professional training for children age four years through high school in a program of study that incorporates the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus in addition to performance opportunities in The Center Dance Company productions.

The school also offers comprehensive adult class schedules in the Metro area, welcoming students of all levels, for classes in ballet, tap, hip-hop, modern, jazz, yoga-based stretch and Pilates.
