The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria (AWLA) held its Annual Dinner and Silent Auction on Saturday, October 25 and we wish to thank everyone involved for making the event another success for the homeless and unwanted animals that we strive to care for within the City of Alexandria.

To the numerous businesses and individuals who generously donated silent auction items, purchased sponsorships or ads in the printed program, or assisted in any way in the myriad efforts undertaken to make the event happen, you have our most sincere gratitude. With your strong support, the AWLA can continue its missions, including operating the Vola Lawson Animal Shelter at 4101 Eisenhower Avenue, providing animal care and adoptions, outreach to community groups, schools, scout troops, etc., and responsiveness to animal emergencies.
