To the Editor,
This note is to thank the community for its help with our exit polling on Election Day. We are statistics graduate students from the George Washington University Alexandria Campus, near the King Street Metro.
While spread out over the entire Washington area, over half of us were polling in Alexandria. Naturally we asked the questions election pollsters usually do namely who our respondents voted for and why.
Anyway, we learned a lot about polling our main goal. But we also learned that Obama was the presidential choice for both men and women and in every ethnic and age group, without exception in Alexandria.
