The Washington Post released its winter sports All-Met teams last week and several Titans featured prominently in the mix.

Tierra Ruffin-Pratt was named to the All-Met first team as well as the Player of the Year for girls basketball, yet another MVP nod for the T.C. standout heading to the University of North Carolina next year.

Like Ruffin-Pratt, Tynita Butts added to her ever-lengthening list of accolades, being named the Player of the Year in girls indoor track.

Butts brought home national championships in the long jump and the high jump at this years National Scholastic Indoor Track and Field Championships. She is ranked nationally in both events and headed to East Carolina University next season.

Boys basketball star Edward Jenkins was named to the Posts All-Met Third Team for boys basketball. Earlier this year Jenkins was named the North Regions Player of the Year and Co-Player of the Year in the Patriot District.

Larry Dow, holder of numerous Titan swimming records, received an All-Met honorable mention in boys swimming and will be competing for George Mason next season.
