T.C. To Present Fiddler on the Roof

Having already performed two scenes from its upcoming performance at the April 16 School Board meeting for those in attendance including most of the ACPS executive staff as well as city school board members the T.C. Williams Drama Department is readying for its official opening of Fiddler on the Roof, set for May 1.

Performances of the student production, originally a Jerry Bock/Sheldon Harnick musical based on family and traditions in a Russian Jewish village circa 1905, are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on May 1, 2, 8 and 9 in the T.C. Williams auditorium.

Students in starring roles include Zachary Frank as Tevye, Bianca Lipford as Golde, Erin Embrey as Tzietle, Ellen Broetzman as Hodel, Madeline Bryan as Chava, Anthony Parker as Motel, Sam Jones as Perchik, Joseph Powers as Fyedka, Andrew Flack as Lazar Wolf and Maham Ayaz as Yente.
Tickets for the musical are $8 for adults and $6 for senior citizens and ACPS students and employees.
