Gov. Tim Kaine accepts a school pennant from Samuel Tucker fourth graders Ndeye Fadiop, right, and Owen Ehret, dressed as the schools mascot, upon entering the elementary school Tuesday morning. Kaine held a press conference at the Cameron Station school where he and state Health Commissioner Dr. Karen Remley reviewed the ways in which the states measures for combating the H1N1 flu virus (swine flu) have changed. Remley said that state officials are expecting doses of the new vaccine to become available in October, with a public vaccination campaign soon to follow. Kaine also received a first-hand lesson in hygiene courtesy of three Tucker students who demonstrated the proper way to wash ones hands.
