A South Carolina federal court this week found Alexandrian Stephen Rosenberg, 61, guilty of threatening to kill a judge presiding in that state in 2008.

Court records show that Rosenberg was disgruntled over a wrongful arrest lawsuit he filed that the judge dismissed in 2003. When he tried to re-file the suit and did not receive an immediate decision, Rosenberg sent threatening emails and letters to the judge.

Some of his statements to the judge reportedly included threats like “the only good white judge is a dead white judge” and others.

Rosenberg faces up to 15 years in prison.
