Playing in his first baseball season at the University of Virginia the current No. 1 team in the country St. Stephens / St. Agnes alum Whit Mayberry notched his first collegiate win on April 7 against Radford University. In his first start, Mayberry allowed one run and just three hits over five innings of work. The former Saint hurler has appeared in nine games for the Cavaliers, notching 16 strikeouts in 15.2 innings on the mound.
