Twin townhouses at 425 and 427 S. Lee St. received a birthday celebration 200 years in the making late last month, drawing friends and family from across the U.S. 

Former neighbors were reunited for the open-house celebration and used the opportunity to catch up on years of news. Jack and Ariane Carpenter, owners of 427 S. Lee St., and Katie and Sam Noe, owners 
of No. 425, just a door away, decided to host the joint party for their homes.  

The Noes purchased their home in 1961. The Carpenters have been in their townhome since 1996.

Katie Noes said, This party gave us a good reason to catch-up with old friends, neighbors and some of the children who are now grown and who lived in the neighborhood.
