SeniorServices of Alexandria, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improvingthe lives of senior residents in the city, held its annual meeting andinstallation of the 2010-11 officers and board of directors at The WashingtonHouse last Thursday.

SSAs mission is tofoster independence and self-sufficiency enabling seniors in the Cityof Alexandria to age with dignity. The organization providestransportation, meals on wheels, companion care and referral information.
