Thumbs Up to my dad on Fathers Day. My dad, as with many WWII vets, did not show much emotion. He was a strong, hard working man. He didnt say much, but through his actions he taught me that with enough effort, I could achieve anything. He would never say I love you even though I said it to him every time we spoke. On the day before he died, I said, I love you, dad. He replied and I love you. Thats the last time I saw him, but it warms my heart every day.

Thumbs Up to long-time George Mason and Cora Kelly elementary school music director Keith Perkins who is retiring after 20 years of service in Alexandria City Public Schools. You influenced countless children that are better off for having been taught by you.
