The Alexandria Symphonys 2010 Garden Party took place last Thursday at the home of Bob and Lindalee Fitton.
The event grossed $56,000 for the ASO, the highest amount ever raised through this event for the Symphonys year-round education outreach programs, full-symphony concerts and new jazz orchestra series.
The event, chaired by Grady C. Frank, Jr., also hosted committee members Gincy Carosi, Julie Dyson, and Donnan C. Wintermute.
Several business partners contributed to the success of the event, including caterers Brabo, Bittersweet Caf, Unwined and Lindsay Cadillac.
The Garden Party is the ASOs major special event fundraiser and is an annual spring event, with a previous high of $52,000.
