The red and gold dress Michaele Salahi wore while crashing a state dinner for the Indian prime minister last year didnt offer much in the way of stealth, but it could draw a lot of money for Haiti.
The Potomack Company in Old Town says it will auction off the dress, which Salahi donated, on October 2. Eighty percent of the gowns get will go to the Clinton-Bush Haiti Fund and another charity to be named September 15.
Lucie Holland of the Potomack Company said she and her colleagues are pleased to help the Salahis make lemonade out of lemons.
The dress will be available for viewing September 25.
