Two school-owned laptops disappeared from a locked James K. Polk School overnight September 24.

Police dont yet know how the suspects entered the school, which is secured at night, and entered the two classrooms where the computers were stored. 

Teachers reported the classrooms were locked when they left and unlocked at the start of school the next morning, authorities said.

School officials reported the theft at 7:54 a.m. that morning.
