Two cycling thieves robbed a man walking near the intersection of North Beauregard and North Morgan Streets armed with a brown and black shotgun. 
    
The suspects approached the victim about 8:23 p.m. October 1 and told him to give it up, said Jody Donaldson, department spokesman. The unarmed suspect then grabbed the victims satchel and the pair fled on their bicycles.
    
The victim was left unharmed, Donaldson said.
    
Authorities have no description of the bicycles, but one suspect was black and the other Hispanic.
    
Bicycle borne crimes arent common in Alexandria, according to Donaldson.
