West Potomac snapped T.C. Williams’ three-game winning streak in a bitterly contested battle between two Patriot league foes.
After a rocky start to the season, marred by injuries and miscues, the Titans tore through West Springfield, Annandale and W.T. Woodson. But T.C. met its match Friday, falling 38-31 to West Potomac.
The Wolverines advance to 5-0 in conference play, 6-2 overall with the win. The Titans heads into next Friday’s game, the first under lights at Alexandria’s sole public high school in more than 40 years, 3-2 in the Patriot league, 4-4 overall.
