A 40-year-old man faces grand larceny charges after allegedly stealing a motorized shopping cart from a Whole Foods Market and later abandoning the device. 
    
Police say Jonathan Spicer, of no fixed addressed, stole the cart from the 1700 block Duke St. supermarket at about 1:45 p.m. November 8. Authorities believe Spicer abandoned the motorized cart at the corner of Wythe and N. Columbus streets after it ran out of power.
