The 2010-11 season is shaping up to be a roller-coaster ride for the 3-3 T.C. Williams Titans after a much-needed win against Patriot District rival Annandale, December 17.
Though they outclassed the Atoms 64-46, T.C. fell short in matchups with Stone Ridge, West Springfield and Stonewall Jackson.
Episcopals basketball squad also has had a rocky road to start the season, though the Maroon shored their 2010-11 campaign up with a 42-30 win against Highland School on December 18. The Maroon head into the holiday break with a 3-3 record. They play next against Sidwell Friends School at 4:30 p.m., January 4.
St. Stephens and St. Agnes prepare for the Christmas Tournament with a 4-3 record after a December 16 game against Sidwell Friends School was cancelled. The last time the Saints took the court they pummeled Potomac, 47-30.
The Saints face North Caroline on December 28.
After a promising start, Bishop Iretons basketball squad has fallen on hard times, dropping three in a row. The 2-3 Cardinals losing streak began with a 69-36 loss to Georgetown Visitation December 14. Theyve since lost to Archbishop Carroll, 46-26 and Flint Hill, 65-36.
