In reference to Sanford Horns column Adopt Israeli air strategy (December 2, 2010), Perhaps Mr. Horn wants to rethink his position on Israeli security. Israeli airport security costs $56.75 per passenger, according to news reports, while American airport security costs $6.93 per passenger. When you add up the extra airports and passengers the United States has, this comes out to our government spending an extra $150 billion per year.
