Robbers stole the headlines December 6, making off with a Washington Post newspaper box on the 600 block Dulany St., about 5 p.m.

Surveillance cameras captured the heist, though police say the poor quality of the footage did not reveal many details. The thieves carried the newspaper box from the scene, said Jody Donaldson, police department spokesman. 

Authorities did not release how much money or how many newspapers were held inside the box. Its the first theft of its kind this year, Donaldson said.
