An unsuccessful would-be burglar was caught in the act twice by a Lloyds lane resident earlier this month.
The homeowner caught the man described only as clad in dark clothing trying to break into his vehicle parked behind the residence at about 8 p.m., January 17, police said. Scared, the suspect ran off.
Two hours later, the suspect reappeared and tried to break into the 200 block home by smashing a front window. He was interrupted by the resident, returning home, and fled again, police said.
