The glow of iPad-like machines could light up Council Chambers if Councilman Rob Krupicka gets his way.
Krupicka proposed the city government look into tabloid computers replacing printed dockets and memos to save trees and money on photocopying costs.
Every place the tabs have been tested has led to meaningful and material savings, Krupicka said.
The council agreed to seek alternatives to paper-based bureaucracy.
