T.C. Williams will head to the AAA Northern Region semifinals after putting the Yorktown Patriots out of businesses, 56-43, in the Garden Wednesday evening.

    
The Titans leapt to a 18-11 lead in the first quarter and sealed the deal with a 17-point run in the game’s final eight minutes. Seniors Jamal Pullen and Tyrell Sitton led the team in scoring, finding the net for 15 and 13 points respectively. 
    
Senior center Rick Matthews had another solid offensive night, putting 11 of T.C.’s 56 points on the board. 
    
T.C., which clinched the Patriot District tournament championship just days ago, has not lost a game since facing nationally ranked Montrose Christian in a non-conference matchup on February 5. They take on the 22-2 Herndon Hornets at Robinson at 6 p.m., February 26. 
    
An eighth consecutive win would put the Titans in place to vie for the regional championship and advance to the state tournament.
