A vandal caused roughly $500 in damages after spray-painting a garage door with the words Fear member me in black and orange earlier this month. 
    
The suspect struck a 300 block N. Columbus St. apartment complex garage door around March 3. The management company reported the incident about 10:47 a.m. that day, according to authorities. 
    
Police wont speculate if the tag is gang-related.
