To the editor

This letter is a bit different than the typical letter to the editor, in that it is not complaining or whining about something. (Not that there is anything wrong with those letters; God bless the First Amendment!) I just want to say thank you for the great job you and your team do. 

In a time when so many print publications are struggling or sadly, in some cases, gone by the wayside, it is good to see that the Times is doing well. I suspect that is because you are a very good community newspaper and do a first-rate job of covering matters of interest to your readers.

I like everything about the Times. I especially appreciate your outstanding coverage of local events, and I also enjoy your “Out of the Attic” feature (Thank you, Office of Historic Alexandria).
