A thief, caught red-handed trying to steal a stove, may have pulled a gun on a West Braddock Road apartment complex employee just after midnight April 13, police say. 
    
The 4800 block complex employee spotted an unidentified suspect hauling the stove from their property about 12:13 a.m. When he attempted to intervene, the suspect pulled what looked like a gun and fled, said Ashley Hildebrandt, department spokeswoman. 
    
The suspect is described as a black man in his 30s with short black hair.
